Career counseling sessions and awareness programmes for competitive examinations such as NET/SET, UPSC, and TNPSC are also conducted to broaden students’ professional horizons.

Students of the department actively participate in intercollegiate competitions, seminars, and workshops. Many have successfully secured placements in teaching, IT-enabled services, banking, and other professional sectors. The department takes pride in fostering a vibrant learning environment that encourages research aptitude, ethical values, leadership qualities, and social responsibility.
