About the Department
The Department of Chemistry in our college was established in 2016 with the aim of providing quality education in the field of chemical sciences through its undergraduate program. The department is well equipped with a spacious, modern, and fully furnished laboratory that supports both practical learning and the development of experimental skills. The laboratory facilities enable students to gain hands-on experience in various areas such as organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry, thereby strengthening their conceptual understanding through practical application.
In addition to regular classroom teaching, the department actively organizes industrial visits, laboratory visits, and educational tours to enhance students’ exposure to real-world scientific environments. The department also plays a vital role in providing a strong foundation in scientific thinking, problem-solving skills, and research aptitude. Overall, the Department of Chemistry is committed to nurturing scientific curiosity, promoting innovation, and preparing students for higher studies, research careers, and diverse professional opportunities in chemical and allied fields.
